Our Terms & Conditions

Welcome to High Five Treks! Before embarking on your adventure with us, please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions, as they form a binding agreement between High Five Treks and you (the Client).

Rescheduling Your Trip
If you need to reschedule your trip, we understand that circumstances may arise. For rescheduling due to any reason, you can do so free of charge, and your trip credits/deposit will be valid until 1 year time period of initial trip booking. Please provide a written notice via email for rescheduling.

Booking Process
For Nepal trips, you can book via our website, third-party platforms, or by emailing us at info@highfivetreks.com. Trip prices are in USD, and if paying in a local currency, the same-day exchange rate set by Nepal's Central Bank applies.To confirm your booking, submit a completed booking form, a copy of your passport, and a 30% deposit of the total trip cost. The 30% deposit is nonrefundable.

Payment Method
Payments can be made via wire transfer or credit card(Not possible for now). High Five Treks is not liable for any bank transaction fees.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
For Nepal trips, if you cancel 20 days or more before departure, we deduct 30% of the total trip price, and the remaining amount is refunded. Cancellations within 20 days of departure incur a 100% charge.
For peak climbing a 50% nonrefundable deposit is required, and cancellations made less than 30 days before departure result in a 100% charge.

Reschedule Policy
Rescheduling a Nepal trip requires a written notice 20 days before departure, with a fee of USD 200 per person. The client is responsible for finding a replacement if transferring the trip to another person.

Passport & Visas
A valid passport with a minimum 6-month validity is required. High Five Treks assists you with Nepal permits. Travel insurance is compulsory.

Health & Fitness
Clients should be physically and mentally fit for high-altitude trekking. A medical examination before travel is recommended, especially for preexisting conditions.

Children
Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a legal guardian or parent.

Privacy
High Five Treks values your privacy. Personal information provided during booking will not be disclosed for other purposes.

Complaints
If you have a complaint, notify our staff at the earliest opportunity for resolution.

Acceptance of Terms
These terms apply when booking directly with High Five Treks. If booking through a third party, their terms also apply.

Applicable Laws
High Five Treks is based in Kathmandu, Nepal. These terms are governed by Nepalese law, and any disputes are resolved exclusively in the courts of Nepal.
