Embark on a remarkable journey along the renowned Everest trail, passing through iconic stops like Namche, Tengboche, and Dingboche. While our path initially aligns with the classic route to Everest Base Camp, our adventure diverges upon reaching Dingboche.
From Dingboche, our trek unfolds towards the base camp of Pokalde Peak, preceding the challenging traverse of Kongma La Pass (5535m), ultimately leading to the Pokalde Peak High Camp. The rugged terrain offers awe-inspiring vistas of the Khumbu Region, Makalu Peak, Ama Dablam, and Pumori.
Next on our itinerary is the picturesque Chhukung Valley, marking the commencement of our ascent towards the iconic Island Peak. Despite its demanding nature, the panoramic views of Nuptse, Baruntse, Makalu, and Ama Dablam from the summit of Island Peak make every step worthwhile.
Our final conquest awaits at Lobuche East Peak, commencing with a descent to Dingboche, followed by an ascent to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar, culminating in the summit bid for Lobuche East. Renowned as one of the most challenging "Trekker's Peaks," the triumphant summit offers a profound sense of accomplishment and courage. After conquering Lobuche Peak, we retrace our footsteps back to Lukla via Namche.

Your Everest 3 Passes Trek kicks off with a flight to Lukla, but during peak trekking seasons, flights may be redirected through Manthali Airport. If this is the case, we'll pick you up around 12:30 am for a 5-hour drive to Manthali, followed by a twenty-minute flight to Lukla. Alternatively, you can opt for a helicopter from Kathmandu to Lukla, costing around 550 USD per person for a group of five. During off-peak months, you'll fly directly from Kathmandu to Lukla. Upon arrival, you'll descend to the Thado Koshi River, crossing suspension bridges en route to Phakding. This short trek includes acclimatization and a visit to Rimishung Monastery in Phakding.
Starting early from Phakding, we'll head northward along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. Our route leads us through picturesque Monjo Village, dense forests, and rocky trails until we reach the Sagarmatha National Park Check Post. Here, we'll complete permit registration before ascending into the forest. Amidst the trees, you'll catch your first glimpse of Mt. Everest. Continuing onward, our journey culminates as we arrive at the vibrant hub of Namche Bazaar, our destination for the day.
Today is designated as an acclimatization day in Namche, allowing you to adjust to the altitude. We suggest exploring the bustling streets of Namche Bazaar, where you'll find a plethora of Wi-Fi-linked cafes, restaurants serving local and international cuisine, as well as shops offering souvenirs and trekking gear. Alternatively, you can visit attractions such as the Sagarmatha National Park visitor center to learn more about the region's flora, fauna, and conservation efforts. Delve into the rich culture of the traditional Sherpa settlements nearby or pay a visit to the Hillary School, which serves the local community. For a spiritual experience, consider exploring the Khumjung monastery, offering insights into Buddhist traditions and architecture. If you're up for an adventure, you can even visit Dingboche Airport, one of the highest airports in the world, or catch breathtaking views from the iconic Everest Hotel, situated amidst the majestic Himalayas.

Today, we'll stroll through villages, enjoying stunning views of landscapes, vegetation, and mountains. In the morning light, everything appears vivid and surreal. Passing Taranga, we'll trek to Marulung (4200m) and finally reach Lungden. In our free time, we can explore Nakpa Valley, an ancient trade route to Tibet, or hike to Cho Relmo Lake.
Today, amidst the tranquility of Dingboche, we embrace the opportunity for acclimatization, allowing our bodies to adjust to the rarified air of the Himalayan heights. A spare day is reserved for unforeseen weather or circumstances, allowing flexibility to adjust the itinerary as needed. If everything proceeds as planned, this day can be omitted from the schedule.
Starting from Louche's high camp, we head towards Lobuche on the Everest Base Camp trail, passing stunning sights including Ama Dablam peak at Pheriche. Along the way to Pangboche, catch glimpses of Pokalde, Thamserku, and Kantega. Enjoy the beauty of Rhododendrons and Juniper trees as you descend. Don't miss visiting the famed monastery in Pangboche.
Embarking towards Tengboche, colorful prayer flags guide us over the Dudh Koshi River, offering breathtaking views. Descending through lush Pine forests along the Dudh Koshi Gorge, we reach Sansa, surrounded by the majestic peaks of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, and Thamserku. After lunch, we trek towards Namche Bazaar, navigating bends and wooded slopes. Keep an eye out for wildlife like snow leopards and mountain goats (with proper precautions). Crossing a chorten, we arrive at Namche Bazaar, where Everest, Lhotse, and the last glimpse of Tengboche await. Capture unforgettable moments before retiring for the night.
On one of the final days of our journey, we navigate steep descents on rocky slopes, requiring careful steps due to fatigue. Crossing the suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi, the terrain flattens, offering relief from the chill wind. The landscape transforms into plains adorned with rhododendron and pine forests, framed by snow-capped peaks—a captivating sight. Passing through Sherpa villages, we witness their devout religious practices with prayer flags and stones adorning the path. Arriving at Lukla for the night, a sense of accomplishment and joy fills the air. Rest peacefully, for tomorrow, we head to the capital.
On our final day in Nepal, after landing in Kathmandu from Lukla via flight, you'll have plenty of time to unwind and explore. Wander through bustling marketplaces, indulge in delicious local dishes, and shop for authentic Nepalese souvenirs, especially in Thamel. In the evening, a special celebration dinner awaits, marking the successful completion of our unforgettable journey.
