Your Annapurna Base Camp Trek begins today. You will take a short jeep drive from Pokhara to reach Matkyu Danda, a newly established jeep station and the starting point of your trek. Then, you will embark on a 1-1.5 hour walk from Matkyu to Jhinu Danda. The path is relatively short and easy, adorned with lush greenery, refreshing breezes, and few settlements. Jhinu Danda is renowned for its traditional and famous natural hot springs. A soothing bath in these hot springs offers a perfect escape from stress and a rejuvenating start to your journey. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful village and the surroundings of Modi Khola. After enjoying a delightful lunch break at Jhinu, we will embark on a 2-3 hour ascent up the steep staircase to reach Chhomrong, where we will rest for the night. From Sinuwa, our path winds through the verdant forest, passing through the charming village of Bamboo before ascending to Dovan. Trekking amidst dense bamboo and rhododendron forests, we follow the Modi Khola Valley to reach the Himalaya Hotel, where the breathtaking views of Mt. Fishtail await. Today's trek from the Himalaya Hotel to ABC is filled with diverse terrain and stunning views. Beginning with a steady climb to Hinku Cave, we then navigate downhill and uphill sections to reach Deurali. Along the way, we must exercise caution as certain areas pose a risk of landslides, particularly during the Spring Season. However, alternative routes are available for safety. From Deurali, we traverse stones and pasturelands alongside the Modi Khola, eventually arriving at MBC. The trail then ascends to ABC, where we are greeted with a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of snow-capped peaks, including Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchre, Gandharva Chuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, and Tent Peak. After a couple of hours of ascent from MBC, we finally reach ABC, situated at 4,130 meters on Mt. Annapurna's loop, offering an unforgettable experience amidst the Himalayan splendor. Following breakfast, we embark on our journey towards Chhomrong, traversing a steep stone staircase and delving into the depths of a lush forest. Crossing a suspension bridge over the Chhomrong Khola adds an element of adventure to our trek. As we follow the Modi Khola, the path leading to Chhomrong from Sewai gradually inclines, offering captivating views along the way. Our trail ultimately leads us to Matkyu, where we board a vehicle for our return journey to Pokhara. Anticipate arriving in Pokhara around 5 - 6 pm, concluding our trek with High Five Treks.

Early in the morning, you can enjoy breakfast at the hotel before being transferred to the tourist bus station. You'll return to Kathmandu by bus, with comfortable seats, typically in deluxe buses equipped with amenities like air conditioning and reclining seats. The journey by road takes approximately 7-8 hours, but you'll be treated to stunning views of the Himalayan mountains, lush landscapes, and rural countryside along the way.
